SO I am going through this phase of listening to old school metal and just thought I would share one of my favorite songs with you all.

This is the Years of decay by Overkill

The latest album from Testament featuring the Original band, minus Louie Clemente, has now reached the nation. As soon as I found out they had a new album, and the orginal guitarist Alex Sckolnick and Base Player Greg Christian were back, I was all over it. Very Practice what you preach, New Order ish with modern progression. But Definately the old School Testamnet I was hoping for!

Being a Testament fan from way back When the new order came out in 88′ That was my favorite album back in the day and couldn’t wait for Practice what you Preach to come out. I remeber my grandpa took me to the mall to buy it and he saw the cover of PWYP and said “why do you want to listen to that? ” I told him it was awesome and never said another word. I think I got to go to my first Testament concert when I was 15 ( BTW that was 18 years ago) on the Souls of Black tour. They were th opening act, then Meagadeth on there Rust in Peace Tour, the headliner of the show was Judas Priest with there Pain Killer Album.

I think so far my favorite track is the Title track #4 Formation of Damnation
