Well I must Say we have dropped 2 to the Pirates and I am not happy about it. ( Like it matters if I am mad about it or not ). Jut a week and a half ago we had a big ol sweepin of the Pirates at Coors Field.
Well I guess you can’t have it all, But of course we best get rears in gear cause were 7 games out in the division and 12.5 out for the Wild card…… Cripes
Well we were close to betting the American league, perhaps we will get them in 09. Was a good game till the 9th, then it got a little long going 6 Xtra innings. I guess it was the longest All Stars game in history. But it was still fun to watch. MAtt Holiday from the Rockies but up the first point for the NL with a home run! GO MATT
With all this sweeping going on I wish they would come an sweep out my garage…
Well we lost 3 to the Mets and were running 4th in the NL west putting us 8 games behind for the division lead and 14 games out from the Wild card.
So the All Star break is here, Home run derby is tonight and the game is tomorrow. Let’s hope the Rockies can get there stuff together after the break. Hopefully we can get Helton and Tulo back in good shape and put some smack down on!!!
Alright waht a nice win lastnight comming off the lost to Atlanta. The Rockies took game one from the Indians lastnight 10 to 2. With Jeff Baker’s inside the park homer ( 10th in club history ) and Reynolds getting his arm figured out. The Rockies put on a great show as only the Rockies Can I LOVE THIS TEAM!!
On A streak? ( knock on wood ) but it seems the past 5 game the Rockies ar looking like ther old selves… Get Tulo back and we should be rerin to go! Although the staff has done a gret job fillin in the shortstop spot. Take a look at the pic, this is the kind of dumb luck the Rockies were graced with last year.
Atkins comes in for the Slide, the throw is in time, the tag was made and the ump called him out ( as did the player fornm the Giants LOL)….. But the ball is sitting on the ground, and the Ump quickly changed his decision.
Anyway these boys seem to have a fire lite under them and with under 100 games left to go I hope we can keep it going!
