Title: The Kingdom
rating:
What a fantastic show not for kids but WOW! Jamie Foxx was awesome and the supporting actors Chris Cooper, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman did a the best support roles I have seen in a long time.
Not based on a true story but a great moderntime depiction of the world of terrorism. I definately recomend it and hope you will check it out. We rented it a t Redbox for a buck!

Title: Iron Man
rating:
I wish Robert Downey Jr. would do more films. this guy is such a great actor. Well iron man has been out for a while now, we just saw it this weekend at the $1.00 Theater ( 4 bucks to take the family to the movies is un beatable). The story was good the action was good, the only thing is it could of had a little more of Ironman doing stuff…. But I think that was on purpose because it keeps the door open for a second film. Which would be great.
Lots of neat gadgets, to bad his cars got ruined, but i did appreciate that fact theat the movie should him doing experiments as he was building the suit. Check it out, theres some violence but I would let em y 7 or 8 year old watch it.

Title: Phantom of the opera
Rating:
Ok the only reason I gave it a 3 is because very few people like opera, including myself. I got to see The Phantom of the Opera on Stage in Las Vegas at the Venitian Hotel and Casino. It was fantastic. I really couldn’t believe the Special affects that they did with a stage show. we were center stage second row on the balcony. let me tell you I thought the seats were perfect ( for a hundred bucks each I would hope so). Anyway the show was fantastic and the store line was brilliant.
Now that tat is out of the way, the movie was almost exactly like the stage show, I felt as though i were in the Opera house ion Vegas watching it there again. there were a couple of scenes in the movie that were not in the stage show but it was almost Identical. I recommend you go to Vegas first and see that show, Then watch the movie.

MOVIE: Rambo
RATING:
Good ol Sylvester Stallone has broiught John Rambo back to the big screen.
Like Rambo films before there is much violence. But unlike the before movies, the violence in this movie, to me, is not cinima violence. It is as real as it gets.
The film has no really huge plot but Rambo is asked to take People in to the Myanmar ( Burma ) so they can do misionary work and the get captured by the military. a special team is sent in to recover them, and Rambo takes the lead. ( a must see )
Stallone reaching 60 ( or over 60?) gives a steller performance as only he can. I think this is a great last movie to the Rambo series.
On another note this film was designed to bring the public a view of what is happening in Myanmar, if it is anything like the movie depicts we need to get a UN force in there and remove there milita ruling party, like we are doing in Afganistan. I feel Sadness and Anger for the people that are suffering there.

My wife surprised me on friday with a babysitter and a plan. I thought that was very cool since it would be the only time we would probably get to do anything for our Anniversary. ( 6 years by the way )

MOVIE: GET SMART
RATING:
We went to see Get Smart with Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway. I give the this 4 out 5 stars, I would give it a 5 but there was just touch of something not there. I would also say this is pretty safe for kids over 9 if you want to take them with you. All in all a fabulous and very funny movie, My Wife wants to go see it again.
