What did you do for Memorial Day.
When I was a kid and clar up throught my early 20’s, I sepent part of memorial day ( or the weekend of) with my grandfather. We would take the weed trimmer and weed puller some wreathers and fresh flowers and clean up my great Grandma and Grandpa’s graves. Boy they were the spiffiest looking plots you ever did see.
I feel sad that since my Grandpa passed away 7 years ago, I havn’t been to great G & G graves and cleaned them up. I think its because thats what my Grandpa and I did, no one else in family really did.
One of these days I will get out there and say hi. Per happs it is a tradition i need to teach my children about…. hmmm
Well we had Quite the day/night yesterday. our region was Tornado Ally. There were 6 tornados that touched down in northern Colorado, which is about 50 miles south of wear we live.
The tornado that hit Windsor Colorado they reported was a possible F3, and was extremely damaging. Fortunately and unfortunately, Only 1 person lost there life. here is some video from CNN
The storm moved North to Cheyenne Wyoming ( where we live) where we had 4 hit the ground. how ever no damage was reported.
I know what an F3 tornado is like. I am a survivor of an F3 that hit Cheyenne Wyoming in 1979. My Brother, Mother and I were in th basement when our house imploded from the twister. We had to move to an appartment for 8 months while our house was rebuilt. Course we had the worst winter ever that year as well.
Have a tornado Story? Lets hear it!

Well looks like are going to stay high. Congress call the oil Execs to capitol hill yesterday and they said, ” hey not my fault “. Well i have been conserving gas a little I spent $12.50 filling up my motor cycle 2 weeks ago and just now need to fill up. Compared to 15.00-30.00 a week in my car.
You would think that countries like Iraq would want to get there crap together and get in on this put a little more oil on the market. Sure prices would go down but they would still make a killing. Hell they all would even if oil was back down to 50.00 a barrel. and the of couse OPEC says, hey the world hasn’t stopped yet and people are paying the money so were not going to pump anymore.
well I tell you what your driving the poor and middle class citizens in all countries to the poor house. we can’t buy mor efficient or alternative fuel vehicles because we cant save to to the fact we have to pay almost $4 a gallon for gas to even go look for one.
I hope our new president can have a better influence on the world economy. One whos cabinet has no personal intrest in the oil and gas industry.
